A specific design example

The unique louvreLED, LED media façade, is designed to display graphics, text, animations and video, in full colour. Constructed to meet specific energy usage budgets, and conform to environmental credentials, louvreLED uses proprietary Power Sharing technology which intelligently distributes the available power to gain maximum brightness in relation to input.
Through the use of this technology, the media façade is capable of providing sufficient brightness to render content viewable under typical indoor lighting conditions experienced in public spaces such as airports and shopping malls, whilst outdoor viewable displays are also available.

Pixel pitches are infinitively variable with the initial louvreLED systems based on a design that uses 125mm horizontal pixel pitch LED strip located along the front edge of the louvre in a routed channel.

The louvres themselves also have a vertical spacing of 125mm, meaning that lower resolution areas can be formed by not populating every louvre with LEDs.
